Beattie published at least five different styles of cards which were labelled "Tasmanian Series". Style 2 cards are undivided back, with monochrome image with rounded corners.

Date Published: The first of these were published in late 1903. I have seen postmark dates of 27 Nov and 23 Dcc 1903 onwards.

Printing: The cards were printed by collotype.  The printer is unknown.

Number in Series:  I have seen 19 different views of this series, as illustrated here. They are not numbered. How many more exist in this style is unknown.

Identification: Cards of this series have "Tasmanian Series - J.W. Beattie Hobart" on the front. The picture occupies most of the card, and has round corners.
