About Series : J.C. Breaden Series

J.C. Breaden postcards are b&w photographic prints.  Most are identified as his work by having the initials JCB beside the caption, but a few are unidentified.  Most are printed on standard Kodak photo paper, but some are on blank backed paper.  A few have a circular rubber stamp, with "J.C. Breaden Hobart Tasmania"  within a circle on the back.

The number of cards issued by J.C.Breaden is not know. A few of them have a number within the caption, but they seem to be in several  numbering systems, so I have not followed them up.

I have never seen a postally used J.C. Breaden card. Even though they were printed on postcard-backed photographic paper they seemed to be too flimsy to post, and most were kept as a souvenir or record of a visit.
