Tassie Photos

These are photos taken by street photographers employed by Ash Bester, operating as Tassie Photos.  Street photographers positioned themselves at a spot with lots of passing pedestrians and took photos of passing people, in the hope or expectation that they would buy copies of the photos.  The subject was given a ticket identifying the photos and could inspect them at the Ash Bester studio the next day. If they liked them they could buy copies.

These are unpublished postcards. They are one-off photos printed on postcard-back printing paper, in contrast to published postcards that are printed and sold in multiple copies.
