The Tasmanian Mail was a weekly newspaper published by Davies Brothers in Hobart in the period 1877 - 1921.  Davies Brothers were also publishers of Hobart's daily newspaper, The Mercury. The Tasmanian Mail was similar to Sunday newspapers of today and carried fiction along with illustrations and photographs, some of them printed full page. The paper also carried inserts as today; a page of postcards was included in the Christmas 1906 issue.
