Usage: Correspondence on back, undated. Posted with 1d Mt Wellington stamp, postmarked at Hobart on 11-IV-1906. The card was used by Walch's themselves to communicate with a customer.

Remarks: Walch's ran an extensive manufacturing, printing  and retail busing in Hobart in the early 20th century. They imported and retailed pianos from Britain and Germany. This card shows their piano showroom at their Wellington Bridge store, on the corner of Elizabeth and LIverpool Streets (so called because it was the site of the bridge over the Hobart Rivulet).
