Manufacture: Printed at the Ash Bester studio at 102 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, on pre-printed postcard-back photographic paper. This is a different back to that used in the A.B. Series photos. date produced about 1950.

Remarks: This is a photo taken by a street photographer employed by Ash Bester, operating as Tassie Photos.  Street photographers positioned themselves at a spot with lots of passing pedestrains and took photos of passing people, in the hope or expectation that they would buy copies of the photos.  The subject was given a ticket identifying the photos, in this case ER18-3, and could inspect the photos at the Ash Bester studio the next day. If they liked it, they could buy copies.
